Matt Dodge, Ariel Rabinovic and Matt Savage have been making music together for almost 30 years. AM Folk finds them reunited under a new banner with a fresh batch of ramshackle artfolk songs.

 

Loose around the edges but sturdy at the core, the (mostly) Boston-based trio sounds old and new at the same time—with discernible influences tangled up in signature quirks and creative sensibilities honed over decades.

 

The band will release its first record, Nil, in Spring 2026—and will be performing in support of it throughout the year.
